Finca El Manzano




2015 marks the introduction of two new sustainable partner farms.  This microbeneficio, El Manzano, is in the microregion: Apaneca-Illamatepec, Ahuachapan,  El Salvador.  It is owned by my dear friend, Emilio Diaz Lopez.  The producers of the El Naranjo Lot are Amada and Maria Aida Milla.

This teeny tiny lot was one of the more memorable lots of the second half of the harvest.  In the cup, incredible sweet fruity aroma, as well as notes of ripe red fruit, clean lemon acidity, sweet caramel and chocolate finish.  A really clean cup that will showcase these flavors best with a light city roast. This amazing coffee will be ready mid -September.
